Letter to Dr. Elmore

Dr. Elmore,

You probably don't even remember me, but you have played a huge role in my life. When I was a freshman at Evangel University, I went to Converge Atlanta. I remember before going asking students that had gone the year before about the event and every single one of them told me that it was life changing. They were right! Then during my Junior year while I was running for student body president at Evangel, you endorsed me on stage at Collision. Even more importantly than endorsing me, you poured into my life with encouragement and guidance.

During the “Collision” conference on campus, you challenged student leaders to solve “The Joshua Problem” and find someone to mentor. While I was student body president, I sought out a Joshua that could replace me when I left. Oddly enough, his name was Joshua. He is currently the student body president during his Junior year. He plans on mentoring someone as well.

I am now thousands of miles away from Missouri. I live in Whittier California, just 20 minutes outside of LA. After graduation. I feel like God has some incredible stuff planned for my life and I feel that you have played a major part in helping me get this far. Thank you so much for everything you've done and are doing to help young people like myself.

Live Love,
Caleb Pyles
