Louisville Christian Academy

Dr. Elmore, recently spoke at a leadership retreat for the Christian Academy of Louisville High School students. The students enjoyed Dr. Elmore's teachings so much that each of the corresponding classes sent him the following note:

Senior Class:

"Your speech at the retreat moved the senior class, it was very encouraging to learn the leadership skills that you taught us that weekend. During the times when our classes split up for group ideas, we came up with several great ideas, involving praying on the microphone every day before lunch, having underclassmen hang out with us on the weekends, and making a senior bible study for the other classes. We have already started to make our first and second steps, and are so excited for the next one. Normally, we would have only come up with the ideas and never follow up on them. This time was different. We are finally moving for the Lord. It couldn't have been as good if it weren't for you. You helped us make those steps."

Junior Class:

"Thank you so much for taking time out of your schedule to come and speak to our high school. You really taught our class. After you spoke, you encouraged our class to make some changes. We decided to focus on several "big rocks" to help unify our grade. We also realize that we need to "feed" ourselves before we "feed others." Thanks again for all your great advice!"

Sophomore Class:

"Your talk about "Chess and Checkers" inspired us to find out our classes strengths and individual abilities to serve. We took these findings and made work teams to go out and be a light to our community. We will be praying for you and your work."

Freshman Class:

"Thank you so much for coming to teach us, at the leadership retreat. Thanks to your encouraging teaching, we have decided to start a before-chapel bible study. You have inspired us to become better leaders and have directed us in the ways to be united. We appreciate your time spent with us very much. Thank you again."
